HOW MUCH ARE YOUR COURSES? HOW CAN I ENROLL AND PAY?
Our courses are priced VERY affordably starting as low as $9 per CEU course up to $349
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
All sales are final. No Refunds. You are purchasing digital study material. CEU testing and CE Broker reporting are complimentary services offered to license Certified Nurse Assistants that have paid and completed Southern Technical Institute CEU courses online. Once material is accessed it is considered used and cannot be returned.
- In special circumstances, if Southern Technical Institute (STI) revokes your online enrollment for any reason and/or if a student has never logged into the coursework and cancels within three (3) business days after enrollment and making initial payment, STI will refund the tuition.
- If you log into any course at any time or request cancellation after the 3rd business day of registering for any online class, Southern Technical Institute will NOT issue any refund.
- To request a refund, you must notify Student Services in writing via email to studentservices@southerntechnicalinstitute.com
- Refunds will be issued within 30 days of termination or receipt of cancellation notice.

CAN I REGISTER AND COMPLETE THE COURSE USING A MOBILE PHONE OR TABLET?
Absolutely! Our new site is mobile, tablet and desktop friendly. You can access and complete the courses from any type of device with an internet connection. If you are using a mobile phone, be sure to use it in “Landscape” viewing mode so that you can access the “Mark as Complete” and “Next” buttons at the bottom of the page. You will need to be sure you have Adobe Reader installed (You can download Adobe from here: http://get.adobe.com/reader). For the optimum education experience and to ensure ease of reading the course material, we highly recommend a desktop computer.
SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
We recommend the use of Google Chrome, Firefox, Or Microsoft Edge as a web browser to access our courses. Using any other browser may cause issues with accessing our courses. We also recommend downloading Adobe Acrobat Reader to easily access any PDF’s that might be apart of your course. All links are listed below for download.
General Course Information
WHAT IS A CEU?
A CEU is a continuing education unit. Southern Technical Institute reports CEU credits for Florida Certified Nurse Assistants to the Florida Board of Nursing through CE Broker. Florida Board of Nursing requires that Certified Nurse Assistants obtain 24 CEU credits every two years prior to your license renewal process.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE AN ONLINE COURSE AND GET MY CERTIFICATE?
You can complete one of our online courses in a matter of hours or a few days. It depends on your comfort level using computers, online technology and the length of the course material. Courses indicating more hours have more pages to read and more questions to answer. Once you have completed the coursework assignments and passed the quiz, and you can immediately download and print your certificate from within your account.
I CANNOT VIEW THE READING MATERIAL AND/OR MY CERTIFICATE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
To view these materials, you’ll need Adobe Acrobat reader (or an alternative reader like Foxit) software. You can download Adobe from here: http://get.adobe.com/reader. Once you have installed the software, please reboot your computer and try to view the pdf again.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I FAIL THE COURSE?
You need to achieve a score of 75% or higher on an exam to pass. If you fail an exam, you’ll be given another opportunity to take the exam; however, in order to ensure the integrity of our program, you will not be able to retake the exam more than 3 times.
